Just a point. Since CP's DO have an alternative feeding mechanism to
forced use of roots, surely there is an alternative to in-vitro
methods. If one had the patience, regular feeding of ALL the required
nutrients via the pitcher would seem to me to be feasible. This avoids
the big problem of sharing the plant (no I'm not after a piece!).
Trying to share a plant grown in-vitro is difficult because all
in-vitro growths are sensitive to transfer.

Is there an expert in plant nutrition who can comment?

Just an idea.
