A year ago, I had an outbreak of newly emerged houseflies for a week or so.
I swatted them (gently, so as not to make too much of a mess) and popped
the bodies into the traps of VFTs and S. purpureas. My cps grew very qickly
and put on new traps during this period. I now use the technique whenever
the opportunity exists.
