This would drive me into a fury. I wouldn't take it out on the critters,
since I like seeing them (the missus and I thrill in the evenings to watch
the geckos and wolf spiders hunt insects on the window---we even leave one
of the lights on by that window specifically to attract moths for them),
but I'd sure build some kind of enclose (or maybe you should call it an
exclosure). The laundry list of human hair, soap, urine, flapping foil,
and zoo-doo always has mixed results, and I wouldn't trust them for a minute.
Especially since you want 100% certain protection.
