IMO everything seems just fine. The plant may be getting better light
conditions than for the leaves that were already present when the VFT was
purchased. Probably just an etiolation type of thing. My first VFT had the
same thing happen. After it started getting 'meals on legs' the leaves
started getting longer again and always seem to out grow the container that I
had it in. I sure that some one else will knock down or improve upon my
ideas, but I don't mind, I'm starting to learn all over again.
