I grew a Cephalotus plant for about 18 months a long time
ago. I knew nothing about its culture. I kept it inside
a giant size clear plastic 7-up bottle on a sunny western
window sill. It loved the heat and humidity and set several
runners with baby Cephalotus plants on the ends. These
rooted and grew. I think I grew it in dead Canadian Spaghnum
and it had no drainage in the bottle. The buildup of minerals
eventually caused its demise. But, for about a year, it was a
terrific plant. It set large pitchers and liked the 6 hours
of sunshine it got.
