I know this is nothing in comparison to the damage some of you
have experienced, but...

I just recently migrated some of my plants from inside to
outside in trays of waters. A local toad decided that my
pot of D. capensis was a great place to spend the daylight
hours - he burrowed down into the wet media and made a nest
for himself at the expense of the plants in the pot.

The first time all I found was the plants torn up and scattered
on the surface of the pot and in the tray of water. I replaced
all the media and repotted all the plants only to find he
had done it again this morning. This time he was actually in
pot with just his nose and eyes above the soil surface.

Persistent little monster. Don't know why he's picking on this
particular pot...guess he likes the smell of the sundews.
