I guess that it is about time that I introduce myself. I have been a
silent observer of this list for a few months now. My name is Tim Quirk
and I am a horticulture student at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo in
California. I am near graduation and can't wait to enter the horticulture
industry! My main interests include bonsai, orchids and of course:
carnivorous plants! Currently I work at a local orchid nursery and enjoy
it considerably.
Anyway, I recently had the opportunity to go on vacation up north to
Santa Rosa to visit my family, attend a high school reunion, and visit
some specialty nurseries. My first stop was to California Carnivores. I
had not been to the nursery in almost a year and was happy to see that
all was well. Marilee was even kind enough to throw in a free plant after
I had purchased a few to add to my small but growing collection. It sure
is a fun and worthwhile place to visit.
Does anyone have the email address to subscribe to the ICPS bulletin? I
seemed to have lost it. Thank you for including me on this exciting
mailing list. I get a lot of information from it!
