I think my purps only have a short burst of new growth in spring, and then
don't do very much for the rest of the year. I wouldn't be too concerned
unless your plant's condition starts to deteriorate. The plants may take
a little time to adapt to the new conditions.
>Also: how often should I feed the plants crickets?
Use flies instead - crickets are too "cute" :-) Be careful about feeding
any insect which may have strong mouths or claws/legs - some have the nasty
habit of escaping Sarracenias by cutting open the pitchers... (European Wasps
are particularly good at this). I never feed my Sarracenias (which grow in
a glasshouse) - most catch enough prey for themselves, or seem to do well
enough without.
