2 weeks ago, I saw P. planifolia growing near Sumatra, Florida. Tthe plants
were in full sun about 6 to 12 inches under water. The soil was a water/sand
mix with small grains of what may have been organic matter lightly sprinkled
in. I saw plants almost eight inches (20 cm if you will) in diameter.
Unfortunately, I've not seen them at any other time of year.
