"Waterscaping" is by Judy Glattstein. She's in Vermont and east coast books
don't translate all that well into our medeterranian system. I'm sold on
pond liners and would not put more concrete in my backyard. She has good
plant lists for the east coast. Better for Californians are the Brittish
publications. Possibly because no one speaks Italian here. (It's not true,
but you know what I mean)or Greek
I got the book thru the Rodale Press.It's worth a look.
Dalmations would definitly be a problem, and I thought I had problems with
the snails!
