Help: Sick Nepenthes

I have a single N. edinensis that has developed a problem with leaves
turning a rust red color and then dying. The rusty red color initially
develops along both leaf edges, and then progressively grows inward
toward the center. The redness appears on both sides of the leaf and
along the entire length. Close examination does not reveal any insect
activity. The development of this problem is occuring early enough to
prevent any new pitcher development.

I have taken steps to isolate this plant from the rest of my small
collection. None of the other Nepenthes are displaying the symptom.

Can someone tell me what the problem might be and offer a remedy?
Thanks.
