I can second that. Thanks to Paul Temple's book, my erroneous
assumption that carnivorous plants were restricted to basically four
or five species in the southeastern U.S. was corrected. I also
learned that not all plants are destined to die a horrible, lingering
death as I'd read in so many basic horticulture books.

Actually I'm not the listowner--I hope I didn't give you that
impression--just someone who is also just getting started. One of the
most valuable tools of this list is that it allows us to pool
information.
Speaking of I.C.P.S. seeds, I've seen some Utricularia seeds listed
in the seedbank. Is there any special process for germinating these
that I should know about before ordering some? The plant that seems
to be most commonly available is U.chrysantha, and the only
information I've been able to find on it is that it is a yellow
flowered Australian plant. Does anyone have any cultural information
on this plant?
