Yes, it is the LA office. It is notorious to those who live here. If you
are sending to CA better San Diego or San Francisco. Hawaii also has a
reputation for killing off plants.
It is not one stupid lazy person in LA (and let's get this clear, it is not
repeat NOT customs, but rather the Ag dept.)but the policy under which the
dept works.
For those serious about importing plants, get to know your port of entry
people. It's worth the effort.
