Nepenthes seedlings

Over the last few months I've had a few N. alata and N. vieillardii
seeds sprout. But then they have met with various ultimely ends. First,
some small insect that looked like what we often called "silver fish" ate
all of my first crop of N. alata seedlings, but left the vieillardii un-
touched. So I reluctantly transplanted all seedlings to fresh peat moss with
as little soil attached but without disturbing the roots. Now, the N.
vieillardii seedlings are dying just as they prepare to put up their second
pitcher leaf. They simply yellow and die. Is there anything I can try?
