Late winter means Jan./Feb. Free flowering is a non-specific term meaning
that whoever wrote that knows what he means, but the rest of us are clueless.
Sometimes it means flowering over an extended period of time, sometimes it
just means lots of flowers replacing flowers.
We have one in the greenhouse at school that is flowering right now.
Personally, I would not use the term "Free flowering" I cannot tell you how
this plant looked a few months ago. It looked as if the student keeping it
had graduated. I guess I was wrong.
