Does anyone here know the distribution of Sarracenia purpurea ssp. purpurea
f. heterophylla? It is said to occur in one county in Michigan
(Montmorency?) and in some Canadian bogs? Has anything been published
on this form? Say, studies of population density and hybridization of this
form and the typical anthocyanin form? (Ah, I see there is a 1956 article in
Rhodora, I'll have to check that out).

It seems like there is an anthocyanin-free form (or "sport"?) of virtually
every Sarracenia sp. Is there also an anthocyanin-free form of Sarracenia
purpurea ssp. venosa?
