Well....nothing quite as drastic as moving to Wales....but I find
I can grow Darlingtonia through the summer in the roasting hot and dry
Ca central valley if I just douse the plant with cool water each evening.
I think a lot of folks have succeeded with it that way. BTW, we have
had several hard frosts so far and all my Sarracenia are dormant and
brown but my Darlingtonia is quite green and happy still.
