No - I'm pretty sure it is bad for them, but as long as you don't
keep closing them all the time...
For the last two years, most of my plants have been taken to
an exhibition visited by children, and by the end of the
day there isn't a single open VFT trap to be found, but it's
only once per year so I don't mind.
