INTRODUCTION

Hello - I'm Howard, and I live in a very rainy part of the north of
England called Rossendale in Lancashire. I've been lurking for a
few days and felt that it was time to speak out. Firstly let me say
that as far as plants are concerned my main interest to date have
been cacti - but this mailing is firing my interest for carniverous
plants, which only really needed a small nudge to get it going. So
what advice would you give to an absolute beginner? Propagation
from seed is one of my keenest interests- which carniverous plants
would survive the fumblings of a newcomer? Any and all advice would
be gratefully received. I also have some spare cacti seed if anyone
would like it.
