Welcome to the list, Walter.

First of all, it was probably best that you kept your droseras and
pings warmer this winter. Since they're tropical/subtropical plants,
they really don't like the cooler temps like the Sarracenias might.
Mine have done just fine all winter above the heater--I'm certain
that the trays of water help. My P. moranensis has just gone into its
winter rosette, although it still refuses to bloom for some reason.

How old are the dionaea seeds? They may not germinate, although the
D. capensis and D. spathulata seeds should do just fine any time you
plant them. I'm assuming you're going to keep the pots in your
apartment until it wams up.
