D. capillaris seeds

I recently planted some seeds of D. capillaris, and was wondering
approximately how long they'd take to germinate. I know this one's
pretty invasive, so since there are a few stray seeds still somewhere
in the growing area, I'm expecting to find a few more of them pop up
in places where they don't belong.
Recently one of my plants grown from a leaf cutting started to
flower, and then the scape did something strange. It forked,
producing two clumps of flower buds, and then one of the of the forks
forked, so there is now one large group of flower buds and two
smaller ones. The parent plant was part of a cluster that grew
prolifically and put up over thirty different flowering scapes last
summer, but I never observed this before. Anyone seen their D.
capillaris plants do this?
