Hey,

Just a gauge as to how little time I have for my plants.....

Yesterday I looked in the greenhouse to water---the first time I checked on it
for about 10 days, and was surprised to see so many Sarracenia flowering.
Oh yeah, I thought, mid March....

Since I can't afford the time to pollinate them, last night I presented the
missus with a very rare and unique bouquet. Actually, a bundle of a dozen or
so Sarracenia flowers---leucophylla, rubra, purpurea, alata, flava, and a few
hybrids---makes for a delightful arrangement. She liked it so much she's even
putting up with the smell from the flavas! I think she misses not having a
cat.

I guess I won't be distributing Sarracenia seed this fall!
