In response to Peter Cole's comment on never using water in an aquarium, I too
have a few CPs in a small aquarium, standing in water. And I've noted the
same situation as Rebecca initially brought up. I might comment that my
drosera is doing fine; the others (VFT and Sarracenia) are surviving, but
apparently longing for spring.
I suppose that one solution would be to install an aquarium pump to circulate
the water. Most of these require at least moderately deep water -- but one
can always adjust the depth for the plants by supporting blocks, etc.
