Some Questions

Hi all,

I have just checked to see what is blooming - I've got U. juncea,
cornuta, sandersonii, calycifida and subulata blooming. My
bisquamata is growing like a weed, but no blossoms. What utrics
are currently blooming for everyone else? I have several other
species which have been around long enough to be acclimated and
I'm wondering which of them could be blooming now. Like Chris
Waldrop, I also have a very healthy looking bisquamata which
has shown no sign of blooming since I got it.

Next question. Last year I planted Sarracenia alata and S. minor
from the seedbank and I have seedlings which are up to 1 1/4 inch
(3 cm) tall for the S. minor and about 3 inches (8 cm) for the
S. alata - the minor were much slower to start germinating (actually
both pots are still germinating almost a year after sowing). My
question is: should they look different at this point in their
development? The hoods in both pots look an awful lot like S. minor
I've never seen seedlings of these before so I don't know whether
I have some mis-labeled seeds or they they all look alike at this
age.

Thanks,

John
