I'm pretty sure that some are self-pollinating. My Pinguicula
lusitanica seeds all over the place (OK - there were loads of them
together in the pot, but I still expect that they selfed), whereas P.
moranensis (or something similar - this plant is getting common in
garden centres now) has never produced seed.
