Another newbie..

My name is JJ blackwood and I am an undergraduate Physics major at
Linfield college in McMinnville Or. I recently recieved some kind of
Drosera, Dionaea, and Pinguicula for a B-day present. I've never tried
growing anything before, but I figured CP is a good place to start. I
found the CP email list yesterday on the CP WWW homepage and promptly
suscribed. My small collection is currently sitting in a dorm window, and
recieves only about 5 hours of direct sunlight a day. Should I augment
the lighting conditiond, and if so, do I use incandescent or flourescent
grow bulbs? Could someone recommend a good introductory level book on CP's?
