the funny characters you see at attached to some of the mails is actually
a file that has been encoded (uuencode format) to be sent as mail via the
internet. it is normally used to encode binary files which have 8-bit data
into pure ASCII (7-bit data) so that it can be sent as an ordinary mail.
ignore those characters. so far, they do not contain any important data. it
is just an encoded file of the same mail it came with. no need to panic :)
