Last year my VFT's had a severe red spider mite problem. Nothing I tried to
get rid of them worked, so I finally just dug the plants up, cut the leaves
off, and replanted the rhizome. When the leaves grew back there were no more
mites. I'm sure there's a better way to get rid of mites but this way worked
OK for me.
