Robert, how's everything? it's been awhile. Hope all's well. inregards to
your bug problem best guess at this point without being able to see them is
that they are thrips. i've never had them on Nepenthes but i've seen them
devastate Sarracenia plants. as you've seen they are tough to control because
they run and also fly. read the label but most general use pesticides will
take care of them.on Sarracenia i use diazinon mixed at about 1/8 to 1/4
strength. and you'll need to be persistent. good luck.
