Both of these swamps are in North Carolina but are close to
South Carolina. The Holly Shelter Swamp is north of Wilmington,
NC. The Green Swamp is west of Wilmington near a town called
Supply. The Green is not very wet (for a swamp) which makes for
easy travel.
I've not been to the Holly Shelter swamp. I know it contains some
CPs but I've been told that it is "more of a true swamp" which I
presume means wetter, also that the fires that burn there are
pretty intense and aren't so CP friendly.

I think you'll find plenty of both along with drosera, bladder &
butterworts. If you're lucky the VFTs may be in bloom.

The North Carolina NC runs tours of the swamp; I went on one just
this past April. You'll have plenty of opportunity to photograph
CPs. You can reach the NC at (919) 967-7007.

P.S. - If the NC swamps don't fit into your vacation plans, check
out the Four Holes Swamp in SC. It is about one hour's drive out
of Charleston, SC along I-26. No CPs on display but a beautiful
place nonetheless (check out the 1000 year old cypress!)
