RE:Black/red Alatas

In reference to Dave's request for black/red or other forms of S. alata,
both Clyde Bramblett(Orgels Orchids) and Bruce Bednar (Lees Botanical)
carry these and other forms. Their address is available on the suppliers
List on the Listserver. One caveat, to attain full color, these plants
require full sun or a strong lighht source. Additionally, their color
may disappear for as long as 2 years after transplanting. Once
established, these are beautiful plants indeed. -alex
