To all,

Here in Brazil tehre is unfortunately a small number of CPers, but
the plants we have are shared when possible. A 'common market' of sorts.
We're interested in acquiring a wide variety of CPs in trade for seeds/and
or plants of native Brazilian CPs. We can also offer native Brazilian
species of orchids and bromeliads, in case anyone is interested.
Of the local collectors, I'm the one with the most contacts at the
moment, and thus the one with the most possibilities of acquiring the CPs
we want. Unfortunately though, my free time for correspondence is ever
decreasing while the number of new contacts is ever increasing (especially
now that I've got E-mail!). As a result, I had a wealth of seeds in hands
and not enough time to put them to good use.
Thus, from now on I'll be passing the 'CP trade business' to one
of our local collectors, called Fabio Pinheiro. Fabio is a very
enthusiastic young collector who has been under my feverish CP influence
for a while now and has been demonstrating a 'magic touch' in cultivating
CPs, especially the native Brazilian species.
In summary, I'll be maintaining my normal correspondence with
everyone and will simply be retiring from the CP trade. So to everyone
interested in acquiring Brazilian species of Drosera, Genlisea,
Utricularia, orchids, and bromeliads (most often with location data),
please send a copy of your CP lists with plants you have avilable for
trade (for those of you who have already sent me one, no need to send
another) to:

Fabio Pinheiro
Rua Brasileiro de Campos 108
Jd.Marina
03560-160
Sao Paulo, S.P.
BRAZIL

Please do not write to me requesting plants or seeds, especially
because I'll be away all of July studying CPs in the wild (and thus will
have even more to offer in August). Please specify for Fabio what plants
you would be interested in. We are putting together at the moment our own
CP list to send, with all the CPs we grow and have for trade. Thus, all
plant and seed requests should be sent to Fabio, not to mention the
plants and seeds themselves, once trade begins. Hope my correspondents
understand that this is the only way for me to keep corresponding with
everyone without having to cut anybody off my list. Thanks to all!
