Well, in my search for information I found another mail order company
that looks pretty good. It's called Peter Pauls Nurseries. They
specialize in CP's and supplies. They are located in the U.S.A. in
The state of New York, actually not far from where I live. They sent
me a pamphlet that has allot of info and some color pictures.
They have a book for sale called Carnivorous Plants of The World by
James and Patricia Pietropaolo.
Has anyone on this list ever seen/read this? The pamphlet says that
the nursery is closed during July, and indicates that the best time to
buy is springtime but all plants are guaranteed. They have a complete
list including seeds, terrarium kits, small greenhouses and accessories,
sphagnum moss (live and dried), a rare plants list etc.etc. They will ship
foreign orders (excluding some varieties) and all prices seem reasonable.
I called the nursery and asked exactly where it was located thinking I'd
visit but the person I talked to indicated that the nursery was strictly
mail order. I'm really excited about having a resource so close to
where I live. This may be the incentive I need to get back into the
hobby for real instead of just thinking and talking about it. Has anyone
on the list heard of or done business with this place? I'm ordering the
book and when I get it I'll send out a review on how it is.
