I grew mine outside . they did a very good job of picking off springtails and
small gnats. although on occasion a group of them would gang up on crane
flys , house flys etc. esp prone to this behavior were the larger species
like D scorpiodes, or dichrosepala. indoors look for them to pick on
springtails and fungus gnat. or you can try fruit flys.
