This was a thread a while back but it finally happened to me. I have a all gree
n S. oreophila (Thank you Robert) and it recently had all its foliage shrivel u
p. The rhizome appears to be intact and not rotten and no pestsare present eati
ng the leaves or roots. The plant is surrounded by all species of Sarracenia in
cluding other S. oreo's and nothing similar has taken place. I've been told tha
t other people have experienced the same problem but the question is do the lea
ves grow back later in the fall. BTW phyllodia and traps were equally affected.
I was wondering if this was a hot georgia survival mechanism. Any ideas?
