well over the last few weeks i have managed to acquire some perlite,
vermiculite, sand, peat moss ( canadian sphagnum). all this was done
because i remember that there was a 'recipe' for a general all purpose
mixture listed here, which i copied, and promptly lost.

so, if anyone remembers, or has the recipe, please send it.
