I have just been given a fairly large piece of U. humboltii which
presumably been growing in a water tray. Does anyone know how to grow
this species? Should I grow it as an aquatic or as a terrestrial and at
what light level and temperature range. If it is better as a
terrestrial what sort of soil mixture is suitable?

I only ask this because I never seem to be able keep this species for
very long.
