Interesting films. Getting off the subject of CPs a little...
here's one for Barry in Arizona. I saw a film, a long time ago,
about a guy burned at the stake in the Spanish Inquisition. 500
years later he comes back to earth in a meteor and proceeds to
kill spanish people (Perhaps the same movie as the Man Eater
of Hydra?) ...only he's invicible and a horrible monster.
He not only kills people, including all the ancestors of the
people who fried him, but he takes their brains and stores
them in a special chest like coldcuts so he can dine on them
when he gets hungry. At the end of the film, the heroine is
the last person related to the people that burned monster
at the stake, and, of course, the monster can walk right through
walls and nothing stops him. The hero figures out there's only
one way to stop the coldcut monster, he reaches into a friend's
car truck and pulls out (voila!) ...A Flamethrower! And he
fries the monster back into oblivion. I'm not sure if this was
a spanish or a mexican movie, but it fit into all those old
black and white 1950's/1960's sci-fi hooters.
