Sorry that I cannot help you with getting in touch with Roger Shivas.
Maybe he will write something like a second ed. of his Malaysia thing, but
I doubt he will be faster (or even better) than the work by CHEEK & JEBB
(Hi, Martin and Matthew!) for Flora Malesiana, which can be called a
monograph.
