There are several growers here in the middle of Florida (hardiness zone
9b) and down toward Miami (zone 10), Tampa is not truely tropical but
Miami is very close. I grow Sarrs. outdoors all year round and the
cool weather we get is enough. I also happen to know that a grower
towards Miami is putting in a large outdoor planting in his own bog.
FWIW, you might be extra careful about water levels or consider growing
some plants indoors where you can help moderate temps and photo periods.
