If you don't have any luck finding someone to tape the shows, I'd be
willing to bet the video tapes will be available for purchase/rental very
soon judging from past TBS series. The tapes will have the advantage of
having all the commercials removed. Perhaps you could coax your department
into buying a set ;-)
