This is in reference to the Petiolaris group:\

Well drained doesn't even seem to matter.

The important thing is the heat..... 105 F. is no problem. They grow
great in a sealed terrarium (plastic wrap) with a combination of
fluorescent and incandescents. They are the only group that can take
the heat to such extremes. I have finally gotten seed from my D. erect
(Beverly Springs) plants and the seedlings are already sprouting! They
need to be outside for some reason for the release of the pollen. (at
least for me anyway)

Anyone that has an extra D. kununurra, please contact me. I need a second
clone for cross polination.

My Heliamphora don't seem to mind the heat at all. After the scorching
summer we had, the plants are flowering and look great. (shouldn't have
said that..... They will probably die now)

It would be nice if we could get darlingtonia to grow in higher temps....
Mine doesn't look so great :(

Take care & keep on growing,
