What do D. Capensis seeds look like/VFT question

My D. Capensis flowered about 1 month ago and some of the flowers are
black and "crisp". Previou posts stated that this was the time when
they would be giving off their seeds so I would have to shake them(while
a piece of paper was under the flower) to catch the seed. My question is
this: WHat do D. Capensis seeds look like? Are they oval shaped like
regular seeds? When I tap the flower, I see black, straight, tiny things
fall out but I don't know if thats the crispened flower petal.

My other question was about my VFT. I posted this question before,
but a la Murphys law, my mail messages started bouncing back and Rick had
to teminate mailings to me so I missed the answer. It concerned my
VF;y traps closing by themselves and going through the process of
digestion even though there is no bug in the trap!!
Bonz suggested that some little critter is touching the hairs and setting them
off, but I don't think so. I have looked very carefully and couldn't find
anything. My vft is healthy, with no problems. I have only fed it one bug
in the last 2 months, but that shouldn't cause the closing of my traps!
Is this a indication of winter dormancy?

Thanks fo the replies.
