I grow my D. adelae outside in Brisbane. It's in my green house under 30%
shade cloth, growing in sphagnum. It sits, year-round in a tray of water,
and doesn't go dormant. It does slow down a bit in winter, but then
Brisbane is hardly tropical at that time of year.
It seems to do very well there, two years ago I had 3 plants, now I have
around 30.
Also, mine seem to be very sensitive to insecticides and fungicides.
Good Luck,
Paul.
