Growing U. geminiscapa, minor

I am curious whether Utricularia geminiscapa and U. minor could
be successfully cultivated as affixed aquatics. Both frequently grow
in shallow water, with "anchoring" stolons embedded in the substrate.
Has anyone experimented with this technique? And is it any more
successful than treating these plants as free-floating aquatics?
