Last spring, maybe summer, I mentioned that we would have wait
until the cold returns to see if N.rafflesiana will still pitcher
in the cold. Well the temperature in my Nep 55 gal. terrarium has
been staying around 65-70 F. and the plants are all still pitcher-
ing including the N.raff. But I must say the highlanders are en-
joying the temps much better than in the summer. Hopefully over
the break, I'll be able to build a new and much larger Nepenthes
terrarium in which to grow the low-land plants, while keeping the
smaller high-landers in the 55 gal. While they seem to be able to
handle the temps while being grown together, I hope to keep them
in the best conditions possible.
