We've been kicking this idea around for a few years at the Wildlife Center.
Rock and Roll which works for Racoons and 'Possums won't work with cats.
Try some red hot chilly pepper and water in a blender, strain the results
and spray on the plants, or around the plants. Black pepper straight might
work too as a repellant and you wouldn't have to spray the plants with it.
