Hi,

I seem to have run into something odd. The reason I had said to unwrap
the bud is because that's what I had to do to mine. The hybrid
agnata * gypsicola made buds about the size of ping-pong balls.
Now this sounds nothing at all like the winter buds they made this
year which are described above. Last year they made little balls by
wrapping the leaves tightly around the center growth point, much
like a head of lettuce. Anyone have this happen to theirs?
