David,
I have a plant of N. khasiana growing in straight corse pumice for years
that flowers for me regularly. It was sprouted in finer pumice and tranplanted
as it got larger. N. rajah does very well in rockwool. Several other Nepenthes
are growing in rockwool or mixes of it. I even use rockwool as a sphagnum
subsitute around the Drosophyllum pots. I have seen other growers using
pumice in the Nepenthes mix and rockwool in an all purpose mix for all CP.
Truly,
