I am now in the proof stage of the 2nd edition of my book on
carnivorous plants. One of the criticism I had about the 1st edition
was that I did not list CP Societies and/or CP journals.
On several occasions I have tried to contact societies. Only two
Societies made contact (1 direct, 1 indirect) but inspite of promises
I have not received any data on the society itself nor about its
publication(s).
So this is my last try. If the Societies out there are not interested
in being listed. OK. But then, dont complain about the missing
information in the book.
Also, I have not yet made my final decision about the picture on the
cover. I have 3 or 4 pictures set aside that I think are good enough
for that, but if anyone out there has a spectacular picture, for
example of a CP with prey, a CP with pollinator, or whatever, he or she
could please contact me. And I am always looking for good habitat
pictures and close-ups etc. anyway.
